Fort Lauderdale has been popular for many years, and still is.

Cocoa Beach Fl, along with Daytona Beach are both areas that are “student” and “budget” friendly.

While there are sites farther north, the “warmth  predictability” is not as reliable. Yes, the beaches are great at Myrtle Beach but it can be quite cold there.
