East Coast Vacations : Vacations for Any Season, Any Budget, Single or Family

Times are tough, and have been for a while. But Americans, as well as people all around the world, still take vacations. In fact, sometimes when you are “down”, you need one more than ever to gain perspective. Maybe relax and evaluate if your income situation can be changed, and if how.

So it’s not a matter if one is going to take a vacation, but often “how” and in these times, we scale back. We look at ways to find inexpensive vacation bargains.  There’s probably many around the country, but as a very large percentage of our population lives on or within a tank of gas drive from the East Coast (as your webmaster does), and as we have been to so many of the places (see the about us page), we’ve decided to share what we know and might suggest about a great east coast vacation site or two.

That might include Williamsburg Vacation Packages, New York Vacation Packages, or moving much farther south, keys vacation rentals. Of course in season, you’ll have many summer vacation ideas for both singles and families, but our theme will stay always on East Coast Vacations. Those within a few hours drive of the beaches.  We’ll cover things like getaways in Virginia (plantations, beaches, resorts, history, etc.), golf vacation packages ANYWHERE

SITE LAYOUT: This will be our home page and the one that comes up, but we’ll have many post pages based on specific locations, and to give the reader a chance to offer comments.  We’ll also have seasonal pages. This site originally developed over 5 yeas ago as a traditional “html” site, but now with changes in abilities to post, we’ve just (fall 2011) converted it to a “blog” format so everyone can participate. Of course this will include advertisers that is a specific location has your interest, you’ll have resources.   You’ll also have resources from people that offer things that are used on vacations such as swimwear or swimsuit outlets; bargain golf equipment suppliers, etc.

So all that being shared, come back often and check our our location sites and use the “contact us” page to submit ideas for locations we have not yet covered. Principal ground rule: ideally not more than 2 hours inland from the coast; secondarily accessible by I-95, or good airports.
